YYC R&B vocalist New Saint is back with a new relationship cut for the summer! Assisted by fellow YYC R&B vocalist Nick Wise, “Over It” is a song about letting go and moving on from a failed relationship. In the hook, New Saint sings “don’t say you’ll stay here in my bed, don’t waste my time, I’m over it”. Both New Saint and Nick sing verses detailing their failed relationships and how they are “over it” now. The instrumental, courtesy of BlackMayo, is trap-influenced and bouncy, it features synths and bright bells which make the record sound dreamy! We have it listed as #14 on our “20 Best YYC Hip-Hop Songs Of 2020 So Far”!
In the music video, directed by JVis Production, both New Saint and Nick are seen in a park on a sunny day, vibing and performing their song with the Calgary skyline in the background. Very professionally done and fits the song perfectly! Shout out to New Saint and Nick Wise on a dope record! Show some love to the artists! Give them a follow and add this song to your playlists! Let’s grow YYC Hip-hop!
